Hey there, I'm Zoe.
I am currently a scientific illustrator at UW-Madison. I call myself a SCIENCE TRANSLATOR that helps scientists "translate" their complicated research into easy-understanding illustrations. I design 2D/3D graphics for scientists' publications, proposals, and journal covers.

I graduated from Penn State University in 2017 with an M.S. degree in Biomedical Engineering. While I find myself extremely engaged in visual design, so I taught myself design software and 3D modeling. It is so great that my first job can combine science and art together. Science is charming. It's my pleasure to help scientists make more people understand their work by visualization.

Beyond these, I'm a freelance photographer that enjoys capturing emotive moments of kids and family. I'm a wife to a scientist and a mother to a cute little boy who always inspires me with fresh photography ideas. I like drawing, Lego, furniture hack, and all kinds of DIY.
